My son and I did the Race for the Cure here in Syracuse, at the NYS Fairgrounds today. What a great morning. We ran/walked the one mile course. Then we went to the Kids for a Cure area for face painting, a bounce house and crafts. It was really nice to have that area for him. He loved it. I loved all the people coming together for a good cause.
My favorite take away was the Ford sponsored bandanas. They are beautiful!
My heart goes out to all those affected by breast cancer.
These events always remind me to enjoy everything as much as possible.
Thank you for doing this race. We weren't home in time this year, but have done it before. If you didn't know, my youngest sister had breast cancer. So the cause is very close to my heart. If I knew ahead of time I would have sponsored you.
